The painter Christoph Schrein has developed his own distinctive abstract imagery throughout his artistic work.
For a long time he explored the space between painting and sculpture in his work.
In his monochrome paintings he is creating an image that appears in flowing motion caused by the superposition of wave-shaped light-reflecting color streams that initiate an complex space of illusion of depth.
Abstract painting allows us to explore spaces of possibility beyond our encounter with reality.
